Application Engineer (m/f)
Principal Tasks:
This position supports the sales force from a technical application engineering side. Duties include manufacturing for test cuts, machine demonstrations, customer start up / training, technical transfer of knowledge and turnkey projects. MAKINO’s undisputed reputation as a premium-quality machine tool provider will constitute invaluable support in the work.
Qualifications and experience:
The suitable candidate (m/f) has concluded a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a technical area and a minimum of 2 years of experience or at least 5 years related knowledge. Experience with design of machine tools adaptations and tools fixtures, programming and operation of multi-axis (3 to 5 axis) machinery center are presupposed. Proficiency in the use of a CAD/CAM System (Solid Works, Autocad, Open Mind, Catia) and CNC Control (FANUC) is beneficial.
